1. Enter desjardinslifeinsurance.com/planmember in your browser’s address bar.

   Tip

   Bookmark this address for next time!

2. From the Log on menu, go to the Individuals section and choose Group insurance.

   

3. Click Register now External link. Opens in a new window..

   

4. Enter your group/policy/contract number and your certificate number.

   

   Tip

   You can find your group/policy/contract and certificate numbers on your payment card, which should have been mailed to you or given to you at work along with your insurance certificate.

   

   If you can’t find your payment card, the person responsible for your group insurance plan will be able to provide you with these numbers.

5. Enter your personal information as you’d like it to appear on our online services. If any of this information changes after you register, you’ll have to contact us to update it.

   

   Make a correction

   This information is used to personalize your online experience, but it does not override the account information we have on file. If you need to make a correction to your account information, please contact us.

6. Choose the option you prefer for your user ID:

   • Use your existing user ID and password (if you have one)
   • Create a new user ID and password

   

1. Choose this option if you already have a Desjardins user ID for any of the following products:

   • A group insurance plan
   • A group retirement savings plan
   • A group pension plan

2. Enter your existing user ID and password and click Submit.

   

   More than one account

   If your user ID is associated with more than one account, you’ll be asked to choose the one you’d like to access. Contact us if you’re not sure which one to choose.

3. Read the user agreement and click I agree to continue.

Choose this option if you haven’t used any of our online services before.

1. Create a user ID with between 5 and 36 alphanumeric characters (letters or numbers). It can’t contain any special characters.

2. Enter a password and re-enter it on the next line. Your password must have at least 8 characters, including 3 of the following 4 types:

   • lowercase letters (a-z)
   • uppercase letters (A-Z)
   • numbers (0-9)
   • symbols (!, $, #, %, etc.)
3. Choose a password reminder. It should be something that will help you remember your password so you don’t have to reset it if you forget it. It shouldn’t be anything that would make it easy for a stranger guess your password.
4. Enter your mother’s first name (not her maiden name). We’ll ask you for this if you ever forget your password.

5. Click Submit to go to the next step.

   

6. You’ll be brought to a confirmation page. Write down your user ID and click Continue to go to the log in page.

7. Enter your user ID and password and click Confirm to log in for the first time.

   More than one account

   If your user ID is associated with more than one account, you’ll be asked to choose the one you’d like to access. Contact us if you’re not sure which one to choose.

8. Read the user agreement and click I agree to continue.

1. Open the app.

2. On the main screen, choose Register.
