Experience
Nicolas Richard is VP of Investments at Desjardins Financial Security and Chief Operating Officer at Desjardins
Global Asset Management. He joined Desjardins in 2011 and has over 25 years of industry experience. His
responsibilities include portfolio management in both public and private markets, research and the development of
products and solutions, client relations and business development, as well as operations. Prior to his current
leadership role, he headed Desjardins Global Asset Management's investment strategy and asset allocation activities.
Before joining Desjardins, Nicolas held senior positions in asset management, wealth management and private banking
within leading global financial institutions in Geneva, London and New York. He has a master's degree in Finance from
the London Business School and a bachelor's degree in actuarial science and mathematics from Université de Montréal.
He's also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
